Music helps anchor the mind and bringing calm while on the road or in a busy airport.  Build a playlist of soothing or familiar tracks.

Seek Out Low Noise Areas

       

Ask a head of time if airlines have a quieter seating area, or a sensory room nearby. Hotel rooms can be requested away from the elevator and ice machine.  Don’t hesitate to ask as these small adjustments can make a big difference in reducing sensory strain.
